The Tale of Twyl

Twyl began with a simple idea: bring creativity directly to people, anywhere, anytime.

Kira Barrett is a children’s book author with a lifelong love of storytelling. But before writing for young readers, she spent years running a PR and marketing agency in New York, specializing in events that captivated and connected communities.

It was in that world of creativity, planning, and immersive experiences that the spark for Twyl was born. Kira wanted to combine her two passions—the magic of stories and the art of experiences—into something entirely new.

Why a trolley? Because sometimes the best adventures don’t happen in a building. They happen on the streets, in parks, at markets, and at community events—where people are already gathering and curiosity is alive.

Twyl is Kira’s answer: a traveling literary and creative portal where children and adults can discover new books, dive into hands-on workshops, attend free storytimes, and experience a rotating world of wonder. Every visit is designed to delight, inspire, and leave visitors excited for the next adventure.Twyl is a bridge between imagination and community, built on the belief that shared creative experiences can bring communities together.
